Fine words butter none...

Taken up with parsnips, no time to blog. (But trying to get creative anyway!)
Does anyone but the Brits eat these things?

Lovely photos! And I roast these sometimes or add to soups - yum!

"Taken up with parsnips" sounds like the first line of a poem I'd like to read... or maybe a prayer for deliverance.

Did you grow these? They look good.

Yes, a bit like John Cooper Clarke's " Travelling in biscuits, it's getting me nowhere"!
Mine husband grew them in a raised bed, they are a good clean crop. Roasted, mashed, in soup... but you can't buy them in France.

I particularly love the spiral.

Oh, spooky! In a very recent post I listed that one of things I liked was 'peeling parsnips'. I revel in the scent of peeled parsnips! Then they have to be roasted and served with a cheesy polenta in the winter.
