Ooh, lovely! The third one intrigues me with what looks like a combination of black and white with colour - photoshopping? Hope inspiration is just merely around the corner, Lucy, for you don't seem to have problems in that regard!
I love to appreciate flowers in nature too..but I have no clue of how to get a nice arrangement if I have to do it for house decoration. Some things we better let the Mother Nature handle! Nice shots Lucy!
Thank you, seems like everyone is wearying with the weather! Looks a little better today... ML - it's Picasa again, focal black and white, picks out a circle to remain in colour, of which you can vary the size and sharpness. The camera itself does a similar thing with the 'colour accent' setting, but it would only pick out one colour throughout the image, so, say, the purple would stand out but the yellow stamens would be grey. Tom calls that setting 'that turkey thing', because I once took a picture of a turkey-cock with red accent, so he was all b/w except his red legs and wattles! Hliza, fancy flower arrangements are beyond me too, though I quite like picking a few for the house.

I'm going to print out your lively flowers and put them on my cork board at work.
They're so zingy! Poor old Mother nature seems to be sighing here. I think the old girl's a bit depressed?
I always go back to flowers when I can't find anything else to blog about; they're just so marvelous :)
Gorgeous as always, Lucy!
It's spring in this hemisphere. We should all be mucking about with some flowers and I would be if there wasn't about 5 inches of snow on the ground.
Fabulous pics, Lucy. A consolation for the crap weather that is currently drooping the daffs and smothering the snowdrops here.
Who needs to hunt for inspiration when spring is coming in?
Lovely, Lucy.
Melt, you snows!
Your photographs are exquisite.

Keep on mucking m'duck!
When all else fails, head for the flowers!!
love these.
Flowers never let us down!
Someone took all the inspiration and left in its place some lousy weather.
Good pictures, as usual.
These just POP right off the screen. Muckalicious!
