Sistine

The ceiling grows on the table

hand over hand,

piece by piece,

a foot at a time.

" When will you make an end?"

( I never knew about the rams' skulls...)

What a poetic notion - recreating, appropriately painstakingly, the Sistine Chapel roof on a table! Once you've finished, Lucy, you should write the poem...

I'm finding these 30 words a little frustrating. I want to know more aboout the ram's horns!

Thanks both.
Dick, Tom's the ace puzzler in the house, I don't really, and he has already finished! We'll keep it around for a day or two, and are prompted to find out a bit more about the details which aren't normally reproduced, such as...

...the rams' skulls, Lesley. There is one on each of the bosses at the ends of the pointy edge sections. Some reference to the sacrifice of Isaac perhaps, as they also apear in that panel. I'll do some more research and post photos of them and the completed puzzle.

Oh! Cool! Where did you find it?

If it was me, it would be quicker to repaint it.

Gom used to do Jigsaws. I wish he would now!
Great post, & yes the rams skulls made me curious.
