Mimosa yellow

There is so much mimosa in the valley of le Légué, and the colour recurs in flashes.

More tomorrow.

That yellow is incredible. As soon as I saw those trees I thought of flower bouquet picked by a giant.

Lovely place.

I love that first photo especially - like someone started applying a paintbrush to the hills, then just wandered off to do something else (sailing perhaps). I like how the yellow pops out among the browns and duller shades of green.

And excellent boat photos. I'm pretty much a landlubber, but the sight of boats, especially painted in these bright colors, is such a cheerful sight (and the smell of the sea comes with it). I also like the continuity from the previous post and its shots of various angles and aspects of boats.

Lucy, what a wonderful eye. I loved the photos. Well done!

This is unworthy of you, Lucy. Even I can take reasonable photos of boats. Time to return to your dross-into-gold mode by concentrating on animal-feed silos and rusting external spiral staircases.
