What a nice job you did. Took a while for m to clue in to the fact that it was haiku because I didn't read the title but rather looked at the pictures and went from there. Silly me. And lovely pictures.
The rainbow really was that vivid, though a little tinkering was required to make it look not more so than life but more like it really was, it was one of those moments of extraordinary rainy evening light, not many of the pictures I tried to take did it justice. I suppose if I were clever with Photoshop I could swipe out the power lines, but I don't know...
Bee, welcome back! Sheila - Richard of York gave battle in vain - ROYGBIV - is the mnemonic we were often taught to remember the colours of the rainbow. I always found them perfectly easy to remember anyway, but the phrase had a certain poetic curiosity value! Zephyr - thank you!

Love that rainbow, Lucy - it positively glows! I'm glad to hear Molly is feeling better :)

A triple hit!
the rainbow is stunning, the way its colours reflect the colours in the landscape

Three lovely things. Three! Must you? Must you really? It just makes the rest of us look bad you know...
I particularly like that first one, Lucy. Haiku + humour. And the rainbow is astonishing.
