Three haiku



Oak head, ivy fused,

Seems to breathe in lapwings

Passing over, beyond.






Hill's shoulder, lopped tree,

Magpie out of the blue

- the camera saw, not eye.



Small mauve embryos

Of false acacia,

A sweet chestnut's spiny nest.

L. These are lovely. I think my favourite is the last one. Looking at the world beneath your feet is fascinating.

I like the second best, especially the pun of the final word. So often we look, but do not see.

thanks Kurt, I sometimes find the camera picks up something quite tiny, which I'm too caught up with the mechanics of taking the photo to notice. I might put together a post of those shots sometime...
