... the French Lieutenant's Spaniel!
She was lost the moment she saw him - and he offered her a bit of buttered baguette... (had to be buttered or she wasn't having any) 'Vot ees zat odeur of chien mouillé?' he enquired twitching his gallic nose... she knew at once that he was insincere but what was a dog to do?

As you have said over at my other place.......I like the smell of wet dog!
She looks very alluring!
!!!
And I like the idea of a Linguaphone series on "How to speak with an Edinburgh accent"... I wonder if there would be any money in it. Probably not...
Fwoof, fwoof...
Brilliant!
Hmmm... dogs in talking French? You're barking ;0)

Lovely! I did laugh - hope I was meant to!
Thanks all. Taken with cheapcam in the back of the car after a wet walk, she doesn't really look tragic enough for the role but there we are.
Dave, I'm glad you did laugh, I did and much as I get used to laughing at my own jokes it's a bit discouraging to be the only one... ;~)
Very glamorous...Porridge is jealous
Aw, she looks slightly embarrassed. I too lke the smell of wet dog in a steamy car.
Awww she does look funny.
I often wondered if my cat was horribly confused when we moved from Wales to England and couldn't understand the other cats. She was certainly never as sociable here as she was in Wales.
Too Cute! I love coming here, for a laugh or and "awww" moment
I have to say, thank you for providing the link to Dave King...I have been SO enjoying his work!
Blessings, EJT
