So what if you see how messy our house is.
He insisted on staying up long enough to read back over the blog, and says that he has no words to express his thanks to everyone for their kind and wonderful words, good wishes and support.
Which goes for me too.
A pic that's worth a thousand - nay, a billion - words
ReplyDeleteI do believe that's one of the most beautiful photos you've posted, Lucy.
ReplyDeleteNothing like being home, with contented dog. So, so, so glad.
ReplyDeleteWelcome home, Tom. We tried our best to keep the place up and running while you were away!
ReplyDeleteMol looks gorgeous. (for a dog!)
Bravo, both! And Molly!
ReplyDeleteMan and faithful friend. Can there be a more beautiful picture?
ReplyDeleteThe best possible sight -- Tom with Molly, both home.
ReplyDeleteSo so happy he's back home again! What messy house you're talking about?
ReplyDeleteHugs to you guys!
hurrah!!
ReplyDeleteLucy, Thanks for your comments at Northern Wall. They touched me and I see why you suggested mole to me. Here is where I went with your picture of Tom and Mol (I presume). I went into Mol.
ReplyDeleteI Wish To Sit Near
I wish to sit near
So that my tail when wagging
Taps you a little,
So that when your thought begins,
You reach down, scratch in the fur
Between my two ears,
Stroke down my black nose, grabbing
My muzzle, thanking me.
Hurrah- home at last...I can see that he and Mol have been missing each other
ReplyDeleteOh good!
ReplyDeleteHurrah!
ReplyDeleteWonderful image.
Happy homecoming Tom. Now listen to me, are you listening?......
TAKE IT EASY, no gardening or re-pointing walls etc. Just be kind to your self.
Good news!!
ReplyDeleteGreat Photo of Tom home again. Also, never has the ability of an animal to understand been better caught on camera. A real link!
ReplyDeleteI am so thankful that he is home, you can both be home, and you are all together. May you be blessed in the time of recovery.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to see him sitting there with Molly!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a welcome home.
Fantastic!! I hope you can both now pull up the drawbridge for a bit and enjoy some rest and relaxation.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure your lovely home and surroundings will suddenly feel all the sweeter.
By the way, Lucy, this photo does not scream "messy house" to me. Or have I gotten used to American standards?
ReplyDeleteMay whatever mess you have be a blessed mess. :-)
A mellow moment, and beautiful too. The light must wash away the difficult times now past so that it may welcome many a happy moment - like this one.
ReplyDeleteLucy, so sorry I didn't know about this until now, coming in to hear the good news! Best wishes to both of you; what a beautiful, love-filled photo!
ReplyDeleteSo much sweetness in this one. It must be delicious for Tom to be home.
ReplyDeleteLovely picture. There's no place like home. With dog. (Or cat.)
ReplyDeleteLovely to hear the news!
ReplyDeleteYour photo gave me a rather soppy moment. Not entirely sure why. I think cos i was so glad to see Tom back home - and the dog - and he reminds me of someone. Someone I have not thought of for a long time and that made me feel a bit odd. I am wondering now if he is like him - probably not.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad he is back home. It is so much easier to regain your strength when you are at home - back in the real world again.
