Yes, a bit like John Cooper Clarke's " Travelling in biscuits, it's getting me nowhere"! Mine husband grew them in a raised bed, they are a good clean crop. Roasted, mashed, in soup... but you can't buy them in France.
Oh, spooky! In a very recent post I listed that one of things I liked was 'peeling parsnips'. I revel in the scent of peeled parsnips! Then they have to be roasted and served with a cheesy polenta in the winter.
