By way of passing the time....

... an experiment. Done with the 'blog this' function on Picasa. Don't know what it'll look like...

Beautiful, each angle. You've got the edge on us, spring-wise, & I thought we were early.

  12. Thanks all. You can't go wrong with a bunch of flowers!
They were cut ones, I hasten to add, not blooming outside, but the sunthrough the dining room window these last few glorious days has been wonderful, and lit up the tulips so they were all aglow.

I have a feeling that last one should be rotated 90 degrees, usually I know immediately by the way the light falls, but it's quite interesting that way.

The Picasa upload is certainly quicker, but has peculiarities: they're supposd to be centred but are oddly justified, but having opted to centre the pics, the text gets centred too, and can't be changed. Some further research required.

  19. Thanks.
Jan - sorted now I think
Hhb - it is, though chilly betimes!
Tristan - c'est formidable, innit? Nice to see you!
Isabelle - oh dear, I didn't mean to sound so world-weary! In fact, it was rather done in haste as I couldn't quite think what to post about next but then couldn't resist sharing these. Flowers always seem a bit of a soft option, though they always go down well.
Stitch - it was the layout with the different way of uploading I was uncertain about, but it's good and quick if you're not doing anything too complicated.
Meggie - what a lovely way of putting it!
