Over the years by means of cattle eating the seed pods and scattering them across the country the tree made its way to Texas over a period of several years. In Texas if found the environment that was prime for it and it began to spread all over and grow to several times the original size. This happens to be the history of Mesquite which is mostly popular for the smoke flavor for bar-b-que. So I would assume this to also be the case for the Judas tree, it most likely does much better in the south.Kellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00612222403725370656noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37070024.post-49022580206729249912010-10-30T19:10:16.964+02:002010-10-30T19:10:16.964+02:00bon sejour - see you in NaBlo!bon sejour - see you in NaBlo!Fire Birdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13518190677399410354noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37070024.post-57302390930255381662010-10-30T16:32:30.373+02:002010-10-30T16:32:30.373+02:00Bon Voyage, Lucy!
