Excitingly good photos. Wow! The pared down abstraction is exactly how I experience the snow. Although I've also been finding it depressing and scary, there is deep sense of simplifying and cleansing and of different meanings emerging that you capture beguilingly here.
Fabulous set of abstractions, each worthy of framing.
ReplyDeleteLove those fence "scribblings"
ReplyDeleteFabulous images, Lucy.
ReplyDeleteWOW!
ReplyDeleteGreat art, Lucy! Hard to pick a favorite from among them, but I am especially drawn to the one of icicles with the sun in the lower corner.
:)
Very lovely photos but I personally am rather fed up with the snow. Brr. Still, it's good that you can find beauty even in brr.
ReplyDeleteLovely, delicate visions, Lucy! If you must shivver, make it work for you...
ReplyDeleteAiyiyi! Those are gorgeous - my favorite is the chicken wire 1/3 mixed with slanting hill and straight posts pic. It is musical and mathematical.
ReplyDeletenow these I like... I must get out with the camera...
ReplyDeleteOh stunning. Lino prints in photo form.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning!
ReplyDeleteLovely. A beautiful simplicity to them.

ReplyDeleteI love the icicles most of all.
ReplyDeleteThe wire and fencing are so alive. "Scribblings" is perfect. These are all quite stunning.
ReplyDeleteNature's doodles and your eye come together in these superbly scribbly shots. Nice!
ReplyDeleteDazzling photographs, as always.
