These photographs are like a pictorial essay on frost. The composition with angular bits of metal stands out in mind. But they are all memorable. You seem to have had a lot more frost than we have. I miss it.
Absolutely gorgeous, Lucy!! Keep up your great work. My favorite too is the one of the metal odds and ends! Even manmade things can be beautiful in your hands!!
This can't be Brittany. Britanny's snorkelling in rocky inlets and a bit of a blow round Ouessant. Here in Hereford it's 10 deg C and if the temperature were to drop we'd warm ourselves (courtesy of "Have I got news for you") by throwing another pile of sterling on the fire.
Wow..I can feel the freeze. Sometimes I do hope I can feel how it's like to have snow..but since I'm more of a sunny person (and easily catches cold even with a few inches of rain), I better be thankful with my hot environment. Lovely lovely way to show things around you Lucy.
PS:I downloaded Picasa just like you recommended..still not so use to it but I know it's cool. Will familiarize myself this holidays..

This is perhaps the second frost we've had, we don't get a lot of it here, and though thick, was actually quite soft, beginning to melt before I came back up the garden, as the sun rose. But it made even the debris of broken up chicken houses, old slates and black polythene at the bottom of the garden look quite pretty!
Avus, the camera is our bridge ( ie sort of semi-compact, fixed lense), Powershot S31s. Well recommended, I think probably still available. The link is to a very comrehensive, and positive, review.
Certainly worth a little wait, these images! I can hear the crackle in the frosted morning.

These are fabulous Lucy -the second lily pad short especially -the sharp lines and the curves -just fabulous.
